How CabiNet helps you

Empty carts or sizes out of stock is not a good look.

CabiNet improves supply by giving access only to authorized users provided they return what they take.

The proven solution in hospitals and industry, CabiNet is often supplied as part of a textile rental service by laundries worldwide.

How it works

Instead of motors and robot arms, CabiNet uses intelligence to detect what each user takes and returns.

Scrubs and uniforms are fitted with washable RFID chips that are scanned by our own readers.

There’s no touchscreen to bother with – just swipe your ID card and slide open the door for the size you want!

Secure access

CabiNet identifies authorized users and only grants them access.

Reduce losses

It encourages users to return what they have taken or lose future access.

Inventory updates

It ensures a reliable supply by sending alerts to operators whenever a size runs low.

We call it Access with Accountability. And being affordable, CabiNet can be located closer to where users work.

Where you’ll find CabiNet

Hospitals

Beyond the OR, CabiNet also brings control to smaller departments and satellite buildings. Warm-up jackets, microfiber and linen can all be stored in CabiNet.

Industry

The wider doors of CabiNet allow it to store a wider range of garments – uniforms, coveralls and cleanroom garments used in food, pharma and general industry.

Hotels

Because it can also store hanging garments, brands such as Hyatt, Raffles and Fairmont use CabiNet for dispensing employee uniforms. Other applications include aprons and pool towels.

By cutting losses, you improve supply

By serving only authorized users, you reduce usage

All delivered more affordably with CabiNet

Fast deployment

CabiNet is delivered fully-assembled and plug-and-play.

You fit the shelves to suit the sizes to be stocked, load it with inventory and it’s ready to use!

The system is managed by Dresscode, CabiNet’s cloud application that allows your customers to add and delete users, view stocks and monitor usage.

Dresscode will interface with most laundry software to import inventory data. It will also help you create your own inventory so that you can track any textile item at risk of loss.

Technology

Designed as a network of smart cabinets, CabiNet was developed by Autovalet and is now an independent company.

Autovalet first started tracking uniforms with RFID in the early 2000’s using HF chips the size of a quarter. In 2015 Autovalet began working with UHF using its own readers and software.

Those readers have now been further upgraded by CabiNet to operate with the latest Impinj E710 reader chip.

Each reader connects to Dresscode, CabiNet’s cloud application that allows its settings to be adjusted remotely.
